Privacy notice
Who we are
Reveta is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact us about anything in this notice at hello@reveta.org or through the contact page.
Things that stay in your browser
The time-back check runs in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent anywhere unless you choose one of three buttons: “Ask Aura for ideas”, “Share anonymously” or “Talk to Reveta”. Each is explained below.
Voice input: if you press the microphone, your browser converts speech to text and puts it in the message box for you to check before sending. Where your browser can do that on your device, it does. Otherwise we ask first, because some browsers send the audio to their own provider (Chrome uses Google). Reveta never receives your audio. You can always type instead.
Aura's voice: Aura reads its replies aloud with Kokoro, an open-source voice model that runs in your browser. The first time Aura speaks, your browser downloads the model (about 90 MB, once) from Hugging Face and a code library from jsDelivr, which can see your IP address when you do. Until it has loaded, or if your device asks to save data, your device's own voice is used. The speech is made on your device; Reveta never receives audio. Turn speech off at any time with the speaker button.
Theme: if you switch to dark mode, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage on this device so the site remembers it. It is not a cookie, it is not sent to us, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
What we collect and why
Contact form: your name, email, optional organisation and role, the topic you choose and your message are sent from this website's server by email to our mailbox, through our email provider (Hostinger), recorded in our enquiries database in Notion (Notion Labs, under its data processing addendum), and saved as a private record in our website's storage on Vercel (EU region), so nothing is lost if email fails. If you arrive from the time-back check, the summary of your answers is added to your message only if you press “Talk to Reveta”, and you can edit it before sending. We use these details only to reply to you and, if you agree, to discuss a pilot.
Waitlist: your email address and a record that you agreed (and which version of this notice you saw) are saved as a private record in our website's storage on Vercel (EU region) and emailed to our mailbox. We use them only to tell you about Aura and access to it.
Anonymous research sharing: if you tick the box and press “Share anonymously”, your answers to the check (the task you described, how often, how long and a few yes/no answers) are emailed to us without your name or email. Please don't put personal details in the task description.
Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us.
The website assistant and AI
When AI is switched off, the assistant follows a fixed set of questions in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to any AI provider, and it says so on screen.
When AI is switched on, what you type is sent from this website's server to the AI model provider we use, to write each reply. Our default provider is Anthropic (Claude); we may use an open-weights model instead, and the assistant says which. Anthropic processes messages under its commercial terms and data processing addendum; it does not offer EU-only processing, so transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. The “Ask Aura for ideas” button in the time-back check sends your answers to the same model.
With Claude, Aura runs as an agent session hosted by Anthropic (Anthropic Managed Agents). Anthropic keeps that conversation for as long as the session exists so Aura can remember earlier messages; pressing “Start a new conversation” asks Anthropic to delete it. On this website the agent has no web, file or code access; it can only show you estimates, service suggestions, quick replies and links. The conversation also stays in your browser for this tab (session storage) so it follows you between pages, and is cleared when you start a new conversation or close the tab.
We don't store the conversation ourselves. Our server logs only the time, the provider type and how many tokens or tools a reply used, never what was said. To limit abuse, a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address is kept in memory for a short time and is lost when the server restarts.
Aura on this site also uses what you've done on this visit to make its replies relevant: the page you're on, the example you last opened and, if you completed it, the task name and estimate from the time-back check. This is kept in your browser for this tab only (session storage) and sent with your messages. It never includes your name or contact details.
Sending a summary to Reveta: if the conversation suggests we might help, Aura offers to send a summary to our team. You see the message and can edit it, you enter your own name and email, and nothing is sent unless you tick consent and press send. With it we receive a short AI-written note of what you told Aura (for example your role, team size and timing) and a follow-up priority worked out by fixed rules from that note. A person reads it and replies. It is used only to prioritise our reply, never to refuse you or make any decision with legal or similar effect. It is kept with your message for up to 12 months.
The guide is automated, not a person. Under the EU AI Act, you are told this at the start. It doesn't make decisions about you.
Aura is a separate service
Aura, Reveta's assistant workspace, has its own sign-in and its own terms, provided to invited teams. It is not covered by this notice. The assistant on this website cannot see anything in Aura, and nothing you type here is passed to Aura.
What we do not do

We do not sell or share your details. We do not put your contact or waitlist messages into AI tools.
Hosting and retention
This website is hosted by Vercel, which serves pages through a content delivery network and keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security, under its data processing addendum.
Messages are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted, or sooner if you ask.
