Accessibility
Built to be usable by everyone
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. This is our own assessment, not an independent audit.
What we have done
- Light and dark themes, with text contrast checked by calculation in both (body text at least 7.7:1, small text at least 4.9:1).
- Every page works with a keyboard, starts with a skip link, and shows a visible focus ring.
- Moving content respects your system’s reduced-motion setting. Background videos are muted, have a pause button and do not start if you prefer reduced motion.
- Aura, the AI guide, works fully by typing, and its conversation is announced to screen readers. Voice is optional.
- The time-back check uses large buttons and sliders that work with a keyboard.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative ones are hidden from assistive technology.
- No content is in images of text, and pages reflow to 320 px wide without sideways scrolling.
Known limits
- Spoken input depends on your browser. Where speech can only be recognised by the browser provider's servers, we ask first; you can always type.
- The site has not yet been tested by people who use assistive technology day to day. We plan to do this before launch.
